Textron Systems to Build Strike Force Vehicles for Army Under $333M Contract

A business unit of Textron Systems (NYSE: TXT) has received a potential seven-year, $332.9 million contract to manufacture 255 mobile strike force vehicles for the U.S. Army.

Textron’s marine and land systems business will also provide fielding hardware to the service branch and deploy field representatives to support deprocessing of systems, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The Army Contracting Command received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation and will determine funds and work locations with each order.

DoD expects the company to finish contract work by Oct. 13, 2024.
