Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK) has acquired The Kaizen Company for an undisclosed sum to expand consulting service offerings under the former’s international development practice.
Washington, D.C.-based Kaizen will be part of Tetra Tech’s government services group and performs advisory and consulting work in the health, education, peacekeeping, economic development and governance areas, Tetra Tech said Tuesday.
Kaizen employs more than 150 personnel across the globe.
Dan Batrack, chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, said the company has supported international development programs for more than four decades and made the acquisition in a push to further its support for clients who facilitate missions in developing countries.
Pasadena, California-based Tetra Tech has approximately 20,000 associates who aim to help customers implement approaches to address development, renewable energy, environmental and sustainability challenges.
