Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK) has purchased Newport Beach, California-based aviation technology systems provider BridgeNet International for an undisclosed sum.
Dan Batrack, chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, said in a statement published Thursday the combination will help the company expand its ability to deliver platforms for ground and airspace support, aviation demand forecasting and modeling and other lifecycle aviation services.
BridgeNet provides government and commercial aviation clients with technology and management platforms designed to address aircraft noise and other airspace issues facing airports and air traffic facilities.
The BridgeNet-built Volans is an online-based 3D application that works to help aviation professionals and engineers display, simulate and assess environmental and acoustic impacts from runways, performance-based navigation systems and other flight operations.
