Barbie Bigelow
Barbie Bigelow, a former senior vice president and chief information officer at Engilitys (NYSE: EGL) TASC subsidiary, will join Pasadena, Calif.-based construction services contractor Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) as SVP and CIO.
Bigelow will directly report to Chief Financial Officer Kevin Berryman and start in the role on March 14, Jacobs said Tuesday.
In her new capacity, Bigelow will work with Jacobs’ leadership to oversee IT strategy and provide support for global operations across the company’s enterprise.
Bigelow spent 16 years at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and nine years at IBM (NYSE: IBM) prior to her 2010 appointment to TASC.
“Barbie brings strong leadership in information technology strategy and operations and also a proven track record of business transformation, ” said Berryman.
“We’re delighted to have her joining the Jacobs executive leadership team.”
She is the founder of B Better Technology Partners, where she also served as chief information security officer and provided consulting services on cybersecurity, digital strategies and risk management.
Bigelow also currently sits on the executive advisory board of marketing firm Moxie Rocket.
