T-Rex Solutions Buys Zot in Intell Community Services Expansion Push; Seth Moore Quoted

    T-Rex Solutions has acquired information technology engineering services firm Zot for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to expand its presence in the intelligence community and broaden its IT management service offerings to national security agencies.

    Seth Moore, CEO of T-Rex and a 2020 Wash100 award winner, said in a statement published Wednesday the transaction aligns with the company’s strategic plan to diversify its portfolio and deliver innovative platforms to protect U.S. national security.

    Moore added that T-Rex will combine its data, cloud and cybersecurity platforms with Zot’s decades of IC experience to help government agencies modernize their IT systems and ensure data protection.

    Columbia, Maryland-based Zot has provided software engineering, system architecture, data management, network design, virtualization architecture and other services to agencies for more than two decades through dozens of prime contracts and subcontracts.

    “Our mutual commitment to achieving mission success while continuously developing new technologies will allow us to seamlessly integrate our workforces and contracts, and quickly build additional capabilities,” said Michael McNeil, founder of Zot.
