Systecon Group has won a contract to help the U.S. Army analyze the operational status of military vehicles and weapons systems using its’ proprietary AI and Predictive Analytics software.
The company said it will implement predictive analytics technology that enables the Army to understand equipment condition and optimize the decision-making process to meet fleet readiness goals for the Army Prognostics & Predictive Maintenance program.
Under the PPMx effort, Systecon’s software will support monitoring of the military service’s sensor-supported equipment and sensor-less legacy systems that could not transfer data to another platform.
“Leaders view PPMx as streamlining the process and returning time to commanders and Soldiers in the field,” said Chief Warrant Officer 5 Nickie Cudjoe, senior technical adviser of the Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center.
Systecon noted that it has more than 600 customers across the globe and the company provides software to defense agencies in 24 countries including all four branches of the US DoD.
