Chamberlain will oversee the company’s efforts in helping the U.S. government adopt enterprise Linux, edge, Kubernetes and other open source platforms to accelerate digital transformation and advance innovation, SUSE RGS said Wednesday.
“Government and federal agencies are leveraging open source solutions from core to cloud to the tactical edge,” Chamberlain said. “Enterprise Linux and cloud-native platforms like Kubernetes are creating new opportunities for government agencies to innovate quickly and reduce IT costs.”
Reston, Virginia-based SUSE RGS combines Rancher’s Kubernetes expertise with SUSE’s Linux knowledge to deliver open source software to U.S. government civilian, Department of Defense and intelligence community agency clients adopting DevSecOps.
Chamberlain spent 16 years at Red Hat, where she led the company’s government capture and business development organization. She also held leadership roles at Unisys (NYSE: UIS), NetApp (Nasdaq: NTAP) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE).
She is an executive board member at AFCEA International and an adviser at AdvisoryCloud.
