Croatia plans to modernize the country's fleet of M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles through a potential $757M foreign military sales deal cleared by the State Department.
BAE Systems' U.S. subsidiary and Raytheon Technologies’ (NYSE: RTX) missile systems business will be the prime contractors for the planned modernization and refurbishment of 76 Operation Desert Storm IFVs, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.
The transaction will include upgrade work on Bradley systems such as M240 machine guns, radio frequency missiles and M257 smoke grenade launchers. U.S. government and contractor logistics, technical, engineering and program services are also part of FMS requirements.
DSCA notified Congress of the proposed sale Tuesday.
