Solis Applied Science has received a potential five-year, $77.4M contract from the U.S. Army to provide remote sensing and image science support to the National Ground Intelligence Center. Army Contracting Command solicited three bids and received one response for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
NGIC is located in Charlottesville, Va., and functions as the Pentagon’s main provider of ground forces intelligence. The center analyzes scientific and technical intelligence and military platforms of foreign ground forces for U.S. military commanders, the force modernization personnel, research-and-development communities, national policymakers and DoD officials.
