SOCOM Selects 7 Companies for $200M Parachuting Support Contract

Seven companies have been selected to support military parachuting activities under a five-year, $200 million contract awarded by U.S. Special Operations Command.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is intended to address military freefall and static line requirements of Naval Special Warfare Command across various locations within the continental U.S., the Department of Defense said Monday.

SOCOM received eight proposals for the contractor-provided, non-personal services procurement via a competitive solicitation.

The command will use fiscal year 2021 operation and maintenance funds for initial task orders.

The awardees are:

• Construction Helicopter
• Erickson
• Marana Tactical Flight
• Paraclete Aviation
• Rampart Aviation
• Win-Win Aviation
