The Space Development Agency has indicated its intent to acquire launch services for a planned network of low-Earth orbit military communications satellites through the U.S. Space Force’s National Security Space Launch program.
A special notice posted Monday on SAM.gov states the agency could remove language pertaining to “contractor procured launch services” from the final request for proposals for its Transport Layer Tranche 1 program.
