Peters, a senior finance executive with a demonstrated history of working in the federal government contractor industry, assumed her new post at SRNS after serving as its chief financial officer and deputy director of business services.
The executive has been with Fluor and the engineering and construction company’s other businesses for more than a decade now. Earlier, Peters worked as disbursements manager and controller at Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth, a company of Fluor and BWX Technologies that serves as the Department of Energy’s contractor for the decontamination and decommissioning of the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
Her career at Fluor also includes time as CFO of Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth.
Aside from Peters’ appointment, SRNS earlier named James Dawkins as executive vice president and National Nuclear Security Administration chief operations officer. He is tasked to oversee the management and operating functions of NNSA missions and programs at DOE’s Savannah River Site.
