Salient CRGT‘s Advanced Technology Systems Inc. subsidiary has secured a potential five-year, $115M contract to help the Government Accountability Office operate, maintain, engineer and secure the agency’s information technology systems and applications.
The company said Oct. 9 it will use a managed services approach to monitor GAO IT infrastructure remotely and deploy personnel to support mission-critical software platforms on site.
Work also includes storage, software, networking, data security and computing services.
Tom Ferrando, CEO of Salient CRGT, said the company will aim to help GAO manage the provision of IT services to agency users through a remote-site delivery model that applies shared resources to address cost and efficiency issues.
The contract has a base period of 12 months and four 12-month option periods.
