Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has received a potential five-year, $93 million task order to help the U.S. Cyber Command operate and protect the Department of Defense Information Network.
SAIC said Wednesday it will assist the Directorate of Operations (J3) Joint Operations Center and Special Programs in the planning of cyberspace operations and joint exercises as well as the development of training objectives, priorities and exercise plans.
Mark Escobar, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s national security customer group, said the company will help coordinate and synchronize offensive and defense cyberspace operations through the task order.
The order contains one base year and four option years.
