Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAIC) secured a potential six-year, $292M contract to provide safety, mission assurance and engineering services to multiple NASA programs and projects.
SAIC will work with the agency on the International Space Station, Extravehicular Activity Project Office, Orion and Commercial Crew Programs under SMAEC II, the agency said Thursday.
Work will occur at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston and White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico beginning on June 1. The single-award, follow-on contract has two base years and a pair of two-year options.
The company previously provided similar services to the agency under a $202.5M contract awarded in June 2013.
