Michael LaRouche, executive vice president and general manager of Science Applications International Corp.'s (NYSE: SAIC) national security group, has been appointed to the Intelligence and National Security Alliance's board of directors.
INSA aims to encourange collaboration between public and private sector organizations in efforts to help the government address national security and intelligence objectives, SAIC said Wednesday.
“Now more than ever, we all need to strengthen the partnership between government and industry,” Larouche said. He has supported the alliance for several years as a member of the group's Technology and Innovation Council.
In his current capacity at SAIC, Larouche works with customers within the U.S. defense and intelligence communities. He joined the Reston, Va.-based company last year after a 10-year tenure as a VP at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN).
