Science Applications International Corp.(NYSE: SAIC)has been awarded a $91.5 million contract modification to continue to provide management and technical support services for the U.S. Army‘s high-performance computing platforms and services.
SAIC is scheduled to finish work under the modification Oct. 18, 2018, the Defense Department said said Friday.
The company has supported the service branch’s HPC programs over the past year through an $84.7 million contract awarded in June last year.
The Army Corps of Engineers will obligate $6.7 million in fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of modification award.
SAIC will perform work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi and a facility in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
