California-based defense company RRDS has received a five-year, $2.72 billion contract from the General Services Administration to supply light commercial vehicles to the federal government.
Maxwell Sun, vice president of supply chain management at RRDS, said 2021 marks the third consecutive year the company received an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award through the program.
Agencies order more than 50,000 vehicles each year via government-wide acquisition contracts.
GSA awarded a $241 million IDIQ contract to the company in September last year. The latest award covers model year 2022 light vehicles such as sedans, light trucks and sport utility vehicles, according to a notice posted on SAM.gov.
