Rolls-Royce Subsidiary Wins Potential $100M USAF Turbine Development Contract

A U.S. subsidiary of Rolls Royce has landed a potential eight-year, $100M contract for development, demonstration and transition of turbine-based propulsion, power and thermal systems for the U.S. Air Force.

LibertyWorks will perform work under the first phase of USAF’s Advanced Turbine Technologies for Affordable Mission-Capability program, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The Air Force Research Laboratory received 54 proposals for the ATTAM project via a competitive solicitation process.

USAF will allocate $17K in fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation for the first task order under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
