Carol Pottenger, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral and former senior U.S. flag officer at NATO, has joined the board of directors at Serco Inc., the British contractor’s Americas region subsidiary.
Her 36-year military career has included roles such as division officer, department head, executive officer and commanding officer aboard combat support and repair vessels, Serco Inc. said Thursday.
Pottenger was the first female admiral to manage an expeditionary strike group along with a logistics force composed of 30 vessels and 40,000 expeditionary sailors.
