Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) has secured a $92.4M contract to help the U.S. Army sustain a mid-range air defense platform used to target aircraft and cruise missile threats.
The company will support National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System operations and provide NASAMS spares as part of the cost-no-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work also covers engineering, refurbishment, overhaul and training support.
Army Contracting Command received one bid for via an online solicitation and the service branch will provide funds and location details upon issuance of task orders.
DoD estimates that contract work wil be completed by Feb. 14, 2024.
International NASAMS customers include Norway, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands, Oman, Lithuania, Indonesia, Australia and Qatar.
