Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) has secured a potential five-year, $237.8M contract to address production requirements for a multiface antenna assembly in support of the U.S. Navy's Cooperative Engagement Capability initiative.
Naval Sea Systems Command received two bids for the firm-fixed-price contract, which covers Planar Array Antenna Assembly production units, spare parts and related engineering services for the CEC program, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
CEC supports the service’s integrated fire control capability and helps improve situational awareness and missile defense capabilities by integrating measurement data derived from strike force air search sensors into a single composite track air picture.
The contract has a base value of $32.7M and work under the base period will run through June 2022. Work can extend to April 2025 if all options are exercised. The service will obligate $31.9M in funds at the time of award.
