Point Blank Enterprises has won a potential five-year, $215.9M contract to deliver 680,706 lightweight body armor plates to the U.S. Marine Corps.
Marine Corps Systems Command received six offers for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive procurement on the FedBizOpps website and will obligate $357K in fiscal 2019 research and development funds for the initial delivery order, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The company will perform work in Pompano Beach, Fla., through June 2024.
