Peraton has appointed Vishal Tulsian, a technology and government services executive, as president of the health, state and local sector.

In this role, Tulsian will help identify and help customers address current and future mission requirements, the company said Monday. He will also oversee program performance, financial outcomes and growth objectives for the sector.

Bob Genter, president and chief operating officer of Peraton, welcomed Tulsian’s addition to the company’s leadership team.
Tulsian’s “extensive experience driving growth across civilian, state, and local government markets is a tremendous asset as we continue to expand our presence and deepen our impact in these areas,” said Genter, a previous Wash100 awardee who joined Peraton in February.
“Vishal’s proven ability to build high-performing teams and deliver results for customers makes him the ideal leader to advance Peraton’s mission on programs that interface with millions of American across our nation,” the COO added.
Who Is Vishal Tulsian?
Tulsian is a growth leader and industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience in general management, operational transformation and financial performance across defense, civilian and state and local government markets. He most recently served as president and COO of RELI Group, where he built a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Prior to RELI, he spent more than 10 years at SAIC as senior vice president and general manager of the state, local, education, health and citizen services business unit.
His industry career also included time as director of global delivery for the Asia-Pacific region at CGI and controller and principal at American Management Systems.
The University of Rochester neuroscience graduate completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. He also serves as chair of the American Heart Association’s Greater Washington Region Board of Directors.
Tulsian said he looks forward to leading a sector focused on public health and government services.
