PAE (Nasdaq: PAE) has received a potential five-year, $74.2 million contract to help the U.S. Marine Corps operate a military air station located in Japan.
The company said Thursday it will maintain and repair facilities, manage wastewater and perform environmental and custodial support services at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni under the single-award, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract.
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East issued the IDIQ award with a one-year base period, four option years and a 60-day demobilization phase.
Charlie Peiffer, interim president and CEO of PAE, said the company has previous experience supporting U.S. government projects in Japan and the contract builds on its expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific market.
