Oshkosh Corp.‘s (NYSE: OSK) defense segment has secured two contract modifications worth a combined $170.5 millionto recapitalize a range of U.S. Army tactical vehicles and palletized load systems.
The Defense Departmentsaid ThursdayOshkosh Defense received a $90.9 million modification to modernize 96 units of M1074A1 PLS as well as 115 M1075A1 PLS.
The segment was also awarded $79.6 million to update 63 M985A4 heavy expanded mobility tactical trucks; 45 M985E1A4 guided missile transporters; 61 M984A4, 29 M983A4 and two M1120A4 wreckers; four M1074A1 PLS; eight M1075A1 PLS; 42 new M1076A0 PLS trailers; and 61 M984A4 self-recovery winches.
Work under both contracts will occur in Oshkosh, Wisconsin through Jan. 31, 2019.
