Oshkosh‘s (NYSE: OSK) defense subsidiary has secured a $130 million delivery order from the U.S. Army to install a medium caliber weapon system into additional Stryker armored fighting vehicles.
The order is part of a potential six-year, $942.9 million contract the Army awarded in June 2021 to an Oshkosh Defense-Rafael Advanced Defense Systems-Pratt Miller Defense team to build and deploy the weapon system on the military ground vehicles for up to six SBCTs.
Contract work also includes product verification testing, operational test and evaluation and logistics development support for the brigade teams.
To date, the Oshkosh-led team has secured orders worth a total of $356 million for 269 upgraded vehicles.
