OPR Wins $165M IDIQ to Help NASA Develop, Test Flight Systems

OPR has landed a potential five-year, $165M contract from NASA to develop spaceflight, airborne and ground systems for the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.

The Beltsville, Md.-based company will help the center’s engineering and technology directorate fabricate, integrate, test, validate and operate hardware and software platforms via the Flight Dynamics Support Services III contract, the space agency said Thursday.

NASA set a $3M minimum ordering value for FDSS III, which includes a 60-day phase-in period that will commence on Sept. 2.

The ordering period is scheduled to begin Nov. 1.
