NTT DATA Services ' federal government subsidiary has received a $23.3M task order from the Department of Homeland Security to support vulnerability assessment work at DHS' Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
The company said Wednesday it will help CISA identify practices that put an organization at increased threat risk and will recommend security approaches in support of the agency's Cyber Hygiene Program.
DHS awarded the task order under the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract.
“The shift to telework means everyone, including the bad guys, are online more, which means agencies and organizations have to be more vigilant,” said Kevin Durkin, president of NTT DATA Services Federal Government .
Durkin added the business is ready to support DHS' cybersecurity mission.
The company won a separate five-year, $17.5M task order in June under GSA's Alliant 2 vehicle to provide a range of information technology services to the DHS Office of the Inspector General.
