Northrop Grumman has secured a $91 million contract modification to provide software configuration set upgrades to software and ancillary hardware of the U.S. Navy‘s and Australia™s EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday Northrop will design, develop and implement airborne electronic attack requirements in support of EA-18G aircraft under the modification.
The modification combines purchases for the Navy worth $83.8 million and the Australian government, through a foreign military sales deal, valued at $7.3 million.
Work will occur in Point Mugu, California through July 2019.
