Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will provide engineering and sustainment services for the U.S. Navy’s MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft systems under a potential one-year, $89.5M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.
The company will provide field service representatives, test support staff and logistics personnel for the sustainment of Triton vehicles, operator training systems and mission controls, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Work will occur in Maryland, Florida, California and Guam through March 2020.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate $69.3M in aircraft procurement and operations and maintenance funds for fiscal 2019.
MQ-4C Triton is designed to help the Navy perform maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions as well as signals intelligence, communications relay and search-and-rescue operations.
