Noblis will advise and assist the Department of Homeland Security on projects to defend against weapons of mass destruction under a prime contract worth potentially $99 million over five years.
The nonprofit company said Wednesday it will support the DHS’ Countering WMD Office across programmatic, administrative, scientific, research and system engineering areas.
Amr ElSawy, president and CEO of Noblis and two-time Wash100 Award recipient, said the company provided technical services to the department’s domestic nuclear detection and CWMD offices for more than a decade.
Contract work entails assistance to the National Biosurveillance Information Center, data integration project management team and other components of the agency’s information analysis and strategy, plans and policy directorates.
Reston, Virginia-based Noblis’ subcontractors on the effort are Barbaricum, BVTI, DEFTEC, SC&A, Snare Consulting, TechINT and TechOp Solutions.
