Nino Kharaishvili
Nino Kharaishvili, a health security professional, has been appointed principal of Jacobs’ (NYSE: J) health system resilience practice within the federal and environmental solutions team.
Jacobs said Thursday Kharaishvili will manage a range of operations encompassing interagency coordination, emergency preparedness planning, health care infrastructure support, data analysis, staff training and information management.
Tim Byers, senior vice president and general manager of Jacobs' federal and environmental solutions segment, said Kharaishvili brings "a new depth of health security expertise, a broad-based understanding of emergency management, and a global consulting portfolio” that will help drive growth for the health practice.
Kharaishvili previously served as technical branch lead at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), where she spent more than a decade and oversaw public and veterinary health programs across 40 countries, including the Biological Threat Reduction Program of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
