Nicolas Pujet, a corporate vice president and part of the strategy team at United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), will lead technology and engineering operations at UTC on an interim basis, Hartford Courant reported Wednesday.
Michele Quintaglie, a spokeswoman for UTC, confirmed Pujets appointment following the resignation of Paul Eremenko as the companys chief technology officer. Eremenko joined UTC in January 2018 as CTO after serving in the same capacity at Airbus.
Pujet previously worked at Celestica (NYSE: CLS) as chief strategy and corporate development officer. He also held senior leadership roles at CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) and McKinsey & Co. UTC is in the process of merging with Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) through an all-stock transaction, which is expected to close in the first half of 2020.
