Nicolas Pujet, a corporate vice president and part of the strategy team at United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), will lead technology and engineering operations at UTC on an interim basis, Hartford Courant reported Wednesday.
Michele Quintaglie, a spokeswoman for UTC, confirmed Pujet™s appointment following the resignation of Paul Eremenko as the company™s chief technology officer. Eremenko joined UTC in January 2018 as CTO after serving in the same capacity at Airbus.
Pujet previously worked at Celestica (NYSE: CLS) as chief strategy and corporate development officer. He also held senior leadership roles at CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) and McKinsey & Co. UTC is in the process of merging with Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) through an all-stock transaction, which is expected to close in the first half of 2020.
