BAE Systems U.S. subsidiary has received a potential 22-month, $76 million contract from to help the U.S. Navy design, develop and field new and existing communications and electronic systems.
The contract also calls for the company to test, integrate, install, certify and maintain the communications platforms for the Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division, BAE said Tuesday.
BAE will perform work in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
Mark Keeler, acting president of intelligence and security sector at BAE Systems Inc., said the company works to meet the Navys development requirements through delivery of integrated engineering and sustainment support services.
