The U.S. Navy has selected four companies to supply a range of information communication technology equipment under low-, medium- and high-risk categories.
The Defense Departmentsaid ThursdayCypher Analytics and CyberCore Technologies each won a potential $47.5 million contract and that both companies can vie for delivery orders under all risk categories.
ALOM Technologies and World Wide Technologies are eligible to deliver products in the low- and medium-risk categories through their respective contracts worth up to $14.2 million each, DoD added.
The high-risk category covers firewalls, intrusion detection systems and sensors, routers, semiconductor chips and switches while the medium risk category includes encryptors, hard disk drives, multiplexers, transceivers, servers, solid state drives, workstations and other computing platforms.
The low-risk category is comprised of racks, cabinets, storage area networks, thin clients, power strips and other electrical protection and distribution devices.
Contractors will perform work at their respective facilities through Feb. 27, 2022.
