The U.S. Navy has awarded 22 companies spots on a potential five-year, $980 million contract to design, build and manufacture training systems and related devices.
The service received 40 proposals for the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that will run through November 2023, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The contractors will compete for task orders to modify, test and evaluate training devices for the Orlando, Fla.-based Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.
