NASA has selected 16 companies for $1.4 billion in blanket purchase agreements consolidating logistics support across the organization.
The space agency said Thursday it structured the contract requirements to standardize reporting, optimize resource allocation and manage operational costs. Key scope areas include:
- Hardware & Logistics Support: Flight hardware operations, material purchases, transportation, and move operations
- Asset & Operational Management: Equipment and property management, disposal, maintenance, repair, and export control compliance

Awards were placed against GSA’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus, or OASIS+, the governmentwide multiple-award vehicle for non-information technology professional services. NASA retains the flexibility to issue firm-fixed-price, time-and-materials, labor-hour or hybrid task orders. The five-year base ordering period began Oct. 1 and runs through Sept. 30, 2031, followed by three one-year options and a six-month extension option.
Among the 16 awardees, multiple contractors hold prior NASA logistics experience. TRAX International won a potential six-year, $265 million contract in June 2024 covering disposal operations, export control, equipment management and transportation at Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility and NASA headquarters. Akima Global Logistics secured a potential $96.3 million IDIQ award the following month for logistics support at Marshall Space Flight Center. In the same year, Leidos captured a potential five-year, $476.5 million contract for International Space Station and Artemis cargo mission support.
How Does the Award Compare to the Forecast?
Capture consultancy OST Global Solutions tracked the procurement and estimated its value at $1.7 billion over 10 years. The agreements NASA announced are worth $1.4 billion and have a maximum ordering span of 8.5 years.
The firm also reported that NASA ran a dual-market request for information in April against both the OASIS+ unrestricted and small business pools under NAICS code 541614, which it read as a strong indication that a dedicated small business pool would follow.
Which Awardees Are Native-Owned Businesses?
Seven of the 16 awardees are subsidiaries of Alaska Native Corporations or a tribal government.
Akima Facilities Operations and Akima Global Logistics both operate under Akima, a subsidiary of NANA Regional Corporation. ASRC Federal Administrative Services and ASRC Federal Professional Services fall under ASRC Federal, wholly owned by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. Yulista Support Services sits within Yulista Holding, owned by Calista Corporation. Alutiiq Operations Services operates under Alutiiq, a wholly owned subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation.
