Leslie Smith, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, has joined the board of advisers for Arlington, Virginia-based cybersecurity services provider Millennium.
The 35-year Army veteran joins other former military leaders on the advisory board to provide strategic guidance and direction for the company’s executive team, the company said Thursday.
Traviss Green, chief operating officer of Millennium, said Smith brings “leadership an extensive experience” as the company aims to accelerate its growth.
Smith’s military career included service as inspector general of the Army and commanding general of the U.S. Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood.
