Martine Prevost-Charles has confirmed her new role as vice president of business development at cBEYONData + SMX. The executive said in a post on LinkedIn Tuesday that she will expand the footprint of the Arlington, Virginia-based company’s presence in the Department of Defense market.
“CBEYONData + SMX has a strong reputation for delivering innovative data and analytics solutions across the federal space and I’m thrilled to help expand our footprint within the DoD – Army,” she wrote.
Who is Martine Prevost-Charles?
She brings to the role extensive business development leadership experience within the defense and government technology sectors.
Prevost-Charles joins cBEYONData + SMX from Data Systems Analysts, an IT company that supports defense and federal government customers. At DSA, she held the role of business development director and oversaw DOD projects.
Prior to DSA, she was a business development manager for BITHGROUP Technologies, a Baltimore, Maryland-headquartered IT solutions provider.
From 2017 to 2019, Prevost-Charles was at the Department of Commerce, where she was a business marketing development specialist.
Her career also includes positions at the German company LS telecom and at Gross, Mendelsohn and Associates.
SMX Acquires cBEYONData
Prevost-Charles appointment comes a few months after SMX acquired cBEYONData for an undisclosed sum. The combination of the companies expanded their portfolio of specialized enterprise data and systems offering.
