ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has closed its $350 million cash acquisition of Washington, D.C.-based digital and systems engineering company Gryphon Technologies.
The deal was first announced in November and ManTech said Friday the transaction brings in new programs, customers and skilled professionals for the company’s defense business.
“The addition is highly complementary and builds upon our differentiated technology capabilities, extending our Department of Defense footprint and positioning us for continued growth,” said Kevin Phillips, chairman, CEO and president of ManTech and a five-time Wash100 awardee.
Gryphon, formerly owned by private equity firm AE Industrial Partners, provides support to DOD customers in various areas such as predictive analytics, computational science and cloud engineering.
