Long Wave Secures $113M Air Force Contract for Antenna Program Support

Long Wave, an Oklahoma City-headquartered engineering and services company, has won a seven-year, $112.6 million indefinite-delivery/definite-quantity contract to perform program depot maintenance and installation activities in support of the U.S. Air Force’s antennas.

Under the High Frequency Global Communications System – Antenna Program Support III IDIQ, Long Wave will support high power, high frequency antenna and antenna subsystems used for military command and control communications, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The small business defense contractor will work at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland; Ascension Island Auxiliary Field, Royal Air Force Croughton, Diego Garcia; JB Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska; and other U.S. and international installations. Services will be provided until Sept. 19, 2030.

Long Wave beat another offeror through a competitive acquisition for the firm-fixed-price contract, which is managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma.

The company specializes in engineering, tower and antenna maintenance and installation, software and hardware installation, facility operations and maintenance, simulation and training as well as program management services. It has been working with the military since 1995.
