Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has won a potential five-year, $80.6 million contract from the Missile Defense Agency to develop modified ballistic re-entry vehicle and separation modules.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday Lockheed’s space systems business will also manufacture, store and monitor the delivered modules, as well as maintain software and hardware and transport end items.
The fixed-price-incentive-firm-target contract has options for the company to provide additional quantity, integration, analysis and mission support services.
Work will occur in Huntsville, Alabama, through Dec. 31, 2022.
