Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has landed a $161.4 million contract from the U.S. Army to produce 150 tactical missile systems and guided missile launch assemblies under the ATACMS GMLA Service Life Extension Program.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday Lockheed will perform work in Texas, Arkansas, Vermont, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Missouri and Pennsylvania through Feb. 3, 2020.
The Army Contracting Command obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from the service branch’s fiscal 2017 procurement funds.
Lockheed manufactures the TACMS long-range, guided missile for the Army and allied forces.
