The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a potential 10-year, $1.40B contract to maintain C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft to fulfill foreign military sales requirements.
Lockheed will provide program management, supply support, depot maintenance, sustaining engineering and technical services under the sole-source indefinite-delivery contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Work also covers spares delivery, diminishing manufacturing sources, country standard time compliance technical orders, printouts and distribution services.
The C-130J airlifter has 11 production variants and 17 mission systems, according to Lockheed.
