Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded a potential $214.5 million contract to perform logistics, maintenance and support work on automated test equipment for the U.S. Navy.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday that Lockheed will support as many as 400 Consolidated Automated Support System stations and 150 reconfigurable, transportable CASS stations under the performance-based contract.
Work will occur at various locations across the U.S. and is scheduled to finish April 2023.
The company will also provide CASS support services to the governments of Australia, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Italy and Spain through DoD’s foreign military sales program.
The Navy will obligate $8.4 million in fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement funds at time of award.
CASS is designed to aid shore-based and afloat maintenance of electronic systems installed on ships, aircraft and submarines.
