Lockheed Martin has secured a U.S. Air Force contract modification worth approximately $4.3 billion for the procurement of Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile, or JASSM, and Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile, or LRASM.
JASSM, LRASM Contract Modification Scope
The Department of Defense said Thursday the contract action covers Lots 22 through 26 of JASSMs and Lots 9 through 12 of LRASM.
Lockheed’s missiles and fire control business will perform work in Orlando, Florida, and Troy, Alabama, through Jan. 31, 2033.
The modification brings the ceiling amount of the previously awarded contract to approximately $9.5 billion and involves foreign military sales to Poland, Finland, Japan and the Netherlands.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida is obligating about $1 billion in Air Force missile procurement funds for fiscal years 2023 through 2025; $7.9 million in FY 2025 Air Force research, development, test and evaluation funds; about $105 million in Navy weapons procurement funds for FY 2024 and FY 2025; and $239 million in FMS funds.
Previous Contract Actions for JASSM, LRASM Procurement
In September 2024, the Air Force awarded a $3.23 billion sole-source contract to the Lockheed business unit to produce the long-range missiles.
