The McLean, Virginia-based company said Tuesday the strategic expansion aims to enhance its ability to deliver off-the-shelf, ready-to-deploy services to federal agencies. LMI will focus on pre-built, scalable technology platforms and packaged IP to rapidly meet the emerging federal demands, enabling agencies to achieve their mission goals faster and more efficiently.
Jared Summers, Joseph Norton Appointments
Jared Summers, former XVIII Airborne Corps CTO and ExxonMobil executive, was promoted to senior vice president and chief technology officer after serving as VP and defense market CTO since joining LMI in 2023. Summers, who served in the Department of Defense and the U.S. Air Force, will lead rapid prototyping and collaborative engineering with customers.
Joe Norton, a 13-year LMI veteran, was elevated to SVP and chief product officer. He will oversee product strategy and lifecycle of LMI’s platforms, including RAPTR, LIGER and IronSled. Norton most recently served as SVP and CTO, and was instrumental in the development of the company’s Forge innovation studio.
Remarks From LMI CEO Doug Wagoner
“This is about giving our federal customers solutions they can trust immediately, because they have seen and touched the working solution from the outset,” said LMI CEO Doug Wagoner. “By investing in platforms that are tested and proven, we help agencies solve problems faster, reduce investment risk, and focus on the mission instead of the mechanics,” the six-time Wash100 Award winner added.
