Lexipol-Praetorian Digital Combination Eyes Public Safety, Local Gov't Markets; Alex Ford Quoted

Lexipol and Praetorian Digital have merged with the intent to build a single platform for public safety and local government customers to access training, education and policy resources.

The combined entity will offer a repository of more than 4K training programs, 16K policies and processes, 200K reports and articles to public sector customers, Lexipol said Friday.

Alex Ford, founder and CEO of Praetorian Digital, will lead the new company and Lexipol CEO Michael Davis will serve on the board of directors at the newly-merged organization.

œThis merger joins two complementary offerings together in pursuit of our mission to use digital content and technology to revolutionize the way in which public safety professionals, municipalities, companies and organizations keep our communities safe and reduce risk, Ford said.

Praetorian Digital helps approximately 2M municipal leaders and first responders gain access to training courses, videos and articles from different learning tools and websites.

Lexipol offers state-level policies and training services to juvenile detention, law enforcement, corrections, probation and fire and rescue agencies.
