Leidos Receives $62M CISA Contract for Emergency Preparedness Support Services; Roy Stevens Quoted

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has secured a potential $61.5 million prime contract to perform a range of services in support of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s nationwide safety efforts.

The company said Tuesday it will work under the Priority Services Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance contract to address CISA’s need for telecommunications support.

The agency will use the services in efforts to augment national security and preparedness for emergencies. Leidos will also help CISA maintain and operate legacy priority services and update similar capabilities on newer platforms.

The contract’s base period of performance is nine months and work has the potential to continue via four option years.

Roy Stevens, president of Leidos’ intelligence group, said the company will continue providing technical expertise and capabilities in support of CISA.

“We look forward to helping the agency assist emergency responders and government officials as they work to keep America safe, secure and resilient.”
